3/4� Diameter Pedal Return Spring used on Stairmaster Equipment

  • Return spring fits many different Stairmaster models
  • 3/4� diameter
  • 19� length

Stairmaster 4000PT models manufactured 1991 and on may have a spring of a smaller diameter and would require the spring pulley be replaced in order for this larger diameter spring to be used.

Replacement pedal return spring will not fit Stairmaster 4000PT units manufactured prior to 1991.

The spring was a perfect replacement. Doing the repairs ourselves saved a fortune. The only difficult part of the work was removing and then reinstalling the master link on the chain. Advice on how to best do this would be appreciated.

WOW!!! Found the part to my 12 year old rusty, sweat encrusted Stairmaster 4000 PT with a broken pedal return spring very quickly on your on-line catalogue. I thought I was looking at chucking the old device and spending $2000 for a new one or a $300 in home service charge. Instead I bought 2 springs from you, got them in 2 days and am now stepping again for [$] on a machine that feels as good as new again. Does it get any better? Absolulely not.
