This pedal pair has a 9/16" pedal shaft diameter. Pedal straps attach to pedal at one end by slots in strap and the other end of strap is ridged for use with the pedal�s built in adjustment clasp.

These new style pedals with the ratchet adjustable strap system are much better than the old style of push and pull on and off to adjust. They could still use some fine tuning on usability but the improvement is a blessing.
