Bolts are not hardened. Sheared off after first use on bike.
SPORTSMITH Response: The crank bolt has very specific instructions on the amount of torque needed for tightening. If the bolt is over-torqued, it will result in damage to the bolt, crank arm and/or the bottom bracket. There is a support bulletin for this on the crank arm bolt page of the website.
