Sleeve fits into bike frame and the handlebar or seat post inserts into the sleeve. Sleeve does not fit all Schwinn indoor cycles.

Tip: If your handlebar or seat post is too tight and proper cleaning and lubrication do not fix the problem, try switching the handlebar or seat post with one from another bike. If the problem still exists, replace the sleeve.

This sleeve is thicker then the original Schwinn it replaces. It will not work in most cases. I bought some more again to see if the product had been replaced with the proper unit. Not so. Now I have a box of useless sleeves.

The sleeves fit over the handle bar bases, but do not fit into the bike opening. I purchased 15 and can not use any of them. Unfortunately I removed all the old sleeves and now have very unstable handle bars ):

SPORTSMITH Response: You will find that it is easier to insert the sleeve in the frame post then insert the handlebar into the sleeve. This sleeve is made to the specifications of the manufacturer.
