The construction seems ok but the ball smells so bad like oil that I had to put it in the garage. I'm hoping it goes away. I wouldn't recommend the ball at this time because of the strong odor.
SPORTSMITH Response: The Medicine Balls have a rubber odor that should lessen as they are used and out of the packaging box and bag.
